The story
Twenty-two calves are being treated for lumpy skin disease in our isolation shed. Medicines, vaccines and supplements cost us ₹900 per calf every week.
What is happening
Lumpy skin disease spreads fast among cattle. We moved every affected calf to an isolation shed and vaccinated the rest of the herd.
How you help
Your gift pays for antibiotics, wound dressings, vaccines and the extra nutrition these calves need to fight the infection.
Most calves recover fully within four to six weeks with proper care.
